January Events Lineup

I know I can speak for many people when I say January is a tough month. Getting out in 4-5 inches of snow can be challenging, and at times, it can feel impossible.

However, one reason why I started this page and began posting a monthly event lineup was to force myself to get out of my house more, especially at this time of year.

When you start looking for events and fun things to do in Champaign-Urbana, you find them. There are tons of them! Plus, there’s always a new cafe or restaurant to explore. You may just not be looking in the right places. Luckily, I’m here now!

I’ve selected a wide range of events to showcase this month. From plant swaps to candlelit concerts, you’ll surely find something that sparks your interest!

The Kitty Crib

January 25th

Head to the Kitty Crib and meet all the adoptable kitties at the Kitty Crib while creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece on Saturday, January 25th, at 5:30. Coffee or hot chocolate will be included! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Moore's Rescue Ranch to help animals in need. Reservations are required for this event!

Restaurant Week

January 24th through February 1st
